Free Inspection & Quote
One of our experienced team will come visit you onsite to assess your block and determine the best possible design solution for you. Based on your individual requirements and needs we will prepare a detailed costing for your approval.
Permits & Approvals
Alexacon will help arrange and obtain the necessary permits and approvals with the relevant local council and authorities. We’ll guide you through the approval process and advise on expected timeframes, including when you may need to move out of your existing home.
Move out & Demolition
If you’re currently living in your existing home it’s time to move out – we can even help recommend a removalist company. Work is now underway and the demolition starts.
New Home Construction
Once your old house is gone, the build process begins. We will provide consistent updates throughout the entire process and you’ll be able to see your new home coming to life as the new slab is poured, the roof is pitched and the brickwork begins.
Handover

Yes, depending on the size, shape and planning requirements of your block. Alexacon offers a
range of two-storey home designs created to maximise available space. During your initial on-
site assessment, we’ll review your block and discuss the most suitable design options for your
needs, lifestyle and site.
How long does a knockdown rebuild project take?
As a general guide, the pre-construction stage, including planning, approvals and demolition, can take approximately 12 months, followed by a construction period of around 30 weeks. Every project is different, and timeframes may be influenced by factors such as:

– The size and complexity of your new home
– Demolition availability and scheduling
– Site conditions
– Weather conditions

How much does demolition cost?
Demolition costs vary depending on the size and construction of the existing home, site access, waste disposal requirements and whether hazardous materials such as asbestos are present. As a general guide, demolition may range from approximately $17,000 for an average three-bedroom home to $40,000 or more. A site-specific quotation will be required to confirm
the cost.
